Submission guidelines
What makes a submission publishable, and what gets one sent back. Read this before you submit so your listing goes live on the first pass.

What we accept
A listing is publishable when all of the following are true.
- The project is live and the URL you provide loads a working product.
- The project is software: an app, a tool, a library, an API, or a service.
- The description says what the product does and who it is for, in plain language.
- You have the right to use the name, logo, and screenshots you submit.
What we reject
These are the common reasons a submission does not go live.
- A landing page with no working product behind it.
- A description written as marketing copy with no concrete detail about what the product does.
- A duplicate of a listing that is already in the catalog.
- Affiliate pages, redirects, or link farms.
- Content that infringes another party's rights.
Writing a good description
Lead with what the product does, not with how innovative it is. Name the audience. If the product replaces something specific, say what. Two or three sentences is usually enough; longer descriptions are fine when they carry real detail.
Images
A square logo at 128px or larger works best. Screenshots should show the real interface rather than a marketing render. If you do not have a logo, the listing falls back to the project initial.
Review time
Paid listings are approved immediately. Free listings are approved once the badge link is verified, which is usually within a few hours.
